Cash's learning

 Tuesday antics.

Went for a walk down to the river and on the way back Cash looked for shapes. Then a spot of school work afterwards. 

Grace's learning

 Grace could tell me how many sides each shape had. 

She knew a circle had 0 sides and did number lines with no help.

For the maths equations, she used her hand and I wrote the numbers in for her. 

Te Rerekohu's Learning

Te Rerekohu has written a story about her pigs. 

Here is Te Rerekohu at her pigsty that she helped cleanout on the weekend. She just fed them some scraps.

Grace's Learning

 Two new calves learning how to feed and having their breakfast this morning.

Grace is learning how to order numbers to 20 and she is learning basic facts to 10.

Jade's Learning

 Jade spent a lot of his weekend bike riding, we went for a few walks and runs when the sunshine came out in between the showers,  doing some cross country practice. We found some large diggers and excavators on our way which he enjoyed along with finding wild horses and cows in the bush.

Aaliyah's Learning

 Aaliyah has been very busy last week doing her handwriting and maths.

Ruby's learning

 Ruby made daffodils for Daffodil day.

 Ruby and her brother helped their dad to make a hangi in the backyard while her mum was at work.

                                                         She helped to make sushi for dinner.

Jordan's learning

 Jordan made a book of different shapes yesterday.  He enjoyed engaging in this activity.

Ruby's learning

 These are a few things that Ruby has been doing in the past week while in lockdown.

We forgot to take photos, so pictures and stories are the next best thing.

Ruby's learning

 Ruby has also been colouring in and bouncing on the trampoline. 

They have been bug hunting, found slugs and snails under timber, and put them in containers. They fed them silverbeet out of the garden. 

Ruby and her brother have also been playing outside in their playhouse, making cakes and cooking with stones, dirt and grass- making mud cakes. 

They’ve also been enjoying doing pretend play; playing Mum’s, Dad’s and babies as well as cooking

 Today we went on a scavenger hunt. We missed the feathers because there are no feathers out here. We got chocolate when we got home.
